
Ibalgin contains the medicinal substance ibuprofen, which belongs to the group of so-called. non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It prevents the formation of tissue effectors, so-called. prostaglandins, which are responsible for pain and inflammation and are released at the site of tissue damage. Ibuprofen relieves pain and inflammation of various origins. Ibuprofen also suppresses fever that accompanies e.g. colds.
Ibalgin is used, for example. for headaches, teeth, back, for painful menstruation, for muscle and joint pain accompanying flu-like illnesses, in soft tissue injuries, such as contusions and sprains. In addition, Ibalgin is used for febrile conditions in influenza diseases and as an adjunctive treatment for febrile conditions in other diseases.
In the case of inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the joints and spine (arthritis and arthrosis) or soft tissues of the musculoskeletal system accompanied by pain, redness, swelling and joint stiffness, the product is used only on the recommendation of a doctor.
The preparation is intended for adults, adolescents and children from 6 years of age due to the amount of the active substance in one tablet.
Adults and adolescents (12-18 years):
Unless otherwise directed by a physician, adults and adolescents usually take 1-2 coated Ibalgin 200 tablets 3 times daily for febrile illnesses, 1-2 coated tablets for pain, up to a maximum of 6 tablets daily divided into several doses. The interval between doses is at least 4 hours.
Children (6-12 years):
Children aged 6-12 years are given 1 coated tablet 2-3 times a day. For children with a body weight up to 30 kg, do not exceed a dose of 400 mg per day. The recommended interval between doses is 6-8 hours.
Adults:
If your symptoms worsen with Ibalgin 200 or do not improve within 3 days for fever and 5 days for pain, consult your doctor for further action. Do not take for more than 7 days without consulting your doctor.
Children (6-12 years) and adolescents:
If it is necessary to administer this medicine for more than 3 days in children over 6 years of age and in adolescents, or if symptoms worsen, a doctor should be consulted.
The coated tablets are swallowed whole, washed down with a sufficient amount of liquid. If digestive problems occur during treatment, take the medicine with food or with milk.
Do not take Ibalgin if you are allergic to ibuprofen (the active ingredient in Ibalgin) or to any of the other ingredients in this medicine. Ibalgin 200 is not intended for children under 6 years of age due to the amount of the active substance in one tablet.

Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the packaging. The shelf life is refers to the last day of that month. Store at temperatures up to 25 °C in the original packaging to protect the product from light and moisture. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
