ARCTIC Freezer 36-S A-RGB White

ARCTIC Freezer 36-S A-RGB White
The ARCTIC Freezer processor cooler dissipates heat from computer processors using a passive aluminium heat exchanger made up of 54 fins, each 0.4mm thick. Four 6mm diameter copper heat pipes are in direct contact with the processor's surface, reducing the number of transitional layers and speeding up heat transfer to the aluminium block. Active cooling is provided by a 120mm P12 Pro A-RGB fan with PWM speed control. The cooler is compatible with modern Intel LGA1700 and LGA1851 sockets, as well as AMD AM4 and AM5 sockets. Thanks to its compact design, it doesn't encroach on the space for RAM, allowing the use of high-profile RAM modules in adjacent slots.

Mounting system with contact frame
A special mounting system with a contact frame is used to secure the cooler to the motherboard. This mechanical element maintains even mounting pressure across the entire surface of the processor. The frame's design actively prevents the processor from bending in its socket during long-term load. This reduces thermal resistance between the processor's integrated heat spreader and the cooler's base. The stable mounting improves the mechanical durability of the entire build and makes installation easier.
Cooler fan
Active airflow is provided by a single 120mm P12 Pro A-RGB fan measuring 120×120×25mm. The fan automatically regulates its speed using PWM in the range of 600 to 3000RPM, and stops completely when the PWM signal is below 5%. The fluid dynamic bearing reduces friction in the moving parts and extends their lifespan. The fan achieves a static pressure of 6.9mm H₂O and an airflow of 130.83m³/h. It connects via a 200mm cable ending in a standard 4-pin connector, and the fan's operating voltage is 12V DC with a rated current of 0.33A.
Direct contact copper pipes
Heat is drawn away from the processor by four 6mm diameter copper heat pipes featuring Direct Touch technology. These pipes rest directly on the processor's metal cover without any additional intermediate layers. The alternating arrangement of the heat pipes distributes heat evenly throughout the entire volume of the aluminium passive heatsink. This consists of 54 aluminium fins, each 0.4mm thick, which form a dense fin stack for efficient heat transfer to the surrounding air. This design optimises the heat transfer path, resulting in lower processor temperatures even under long-term load in an ambient temperature range of 0 to 40°C.
RGB lighting
The cooler's appearance is enhanced by integrated addressable lighting, which consists of 12 second-generation A-RGB LEDs. These LEDs require a supply voltage of 5V DC with an operating current of 0.4A. You can connect the lighting elements using a 200mm cable, supplemented by an 80mm cable for Daisy-Chain technology. The connection is made with 3-pin A-RGB Plug and Socket connectors, making it easy to synchronise with other components in your PC case. The lighting displays a wide spectrum of colours, including red, green, blue, and white for individual customisation.
