Origin of Delord cognac

The grapes of the vine are used as a basic raw material in production. Three criteria are required to create a true cognac. The place of origin must be around the town of Cognac in western France, the variety chosen for production must be Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche or Colombard and it should be aged for at least two years in oak barrels.
