Optimised power system
The board uses an advanced Dr.MOS solution, which integrates power stages optimised for synchronous buck voltage regulation. Compared to traditional discrete MOSFETs, it intelligently delivers higher current for each phase, resulting in better thermal characteristics and superior performance. The 12+2+1 phase power system is implemented on a six-layer PCB with a 2oz copper layer, which guarantees a stable power supply even for demanding AMD Ryzen™ processors.
Memory support with a protective circuit
Due to the specific electrical architecture of DDR5 modules, there is a risk of damage if power is incorrectly disconnected during memory installation or removal. That's why ASROCK has implemented a protective circuit on every DDR5 motherboard, which significantly reduces the risk of damaging memory modules. The board supports dual-channel mode with frequencies up to 7200MHz when overclocking and is compatible with AMD EXPO™ technology for easy memory performance optimisation.
High-speed storage
The board features two M.2 slots for ultra-fast SSDs. The Blazing M.2 slot supports the PCIe Gen5 x4 standard, offering double the bandwidth of the previous generation with a transfer speed of up to 128GB/s, which allows you to take full advantage of future advanced SSDs. The second Hyper M.2 slot supports PCIe Gen4 x4. Both slots are equipped with multi-layer heatsinks and anti-drop screws for easy and secure installation. Four SATA III ports are available for traditional data storage.
Connectivity and networking
The motherboard offers the intelligent Phantom Gaming 2.5Gb/s LAN platform, which provides up to 2.5× more bandwidth than standard Gigabit Ethernet. It automatically detects and prioritises gaming traffic over other network traffic for smoother, lag-free performance. On the rear panel, you will find two USB 3.2 Gen2 ports (Type-A and Type-C) with transfer speeds of up to 10Gb/s and two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports.
