ASUS RP-AC53
Strengthen the coverage of your high-speed dual band network: the ASUS RP-AC53 extender will give you WiFi access even in the very farthest corners of your home. This extender stands out from the pack as it offers simultaneous dual band performance. Its 2.4GHz band, with a transmission speed of up to 300Mbps, can be used for emailing and browsing, while the 5GHz band, with a transmission speed of 433Mbps, is perfect for streaming videos and online gaming.
Key Features
- Extend the coverage of your existing dual band WiFi network
- Needs only one socket
- Easy configuration via the ASUS Extender mobile app
- Repeater, Access Point and Media Bridge modes
- Signal strength indicator LED helps you find the best WiFi location
- Quick and safe setup: simply press the WPS button once
Find Your Place
To make your network more efficient, a signal strength indicator LED can be found on the front of both bands. These can be used to find the optimum distance for the extender (an area with sufficient coverage to take over the existing signal and then provide more). Our advice is to place the extender as far away from the router as possible, but still with a strong enough signal. The extender's plug-in functionality means you can install it virtually anywhere.
