Auraton Orion SET WiFi Wireless Thermostat
The Auraton Orion SET wireless thermostat is designed for regulating household temperatures and controlling heating systems, such as boilers or underfloor heating. This device works with the Tuya, Smart Life and Google Home mobile apps for remote control and temperature adjustment via an Android or iOS mobile phone. The apps support English, Czech, German, Polish, Spanish, French and Italian. The device operates on a 433.92MHz radio frequency and uses a built-in WiFi module to connect to a 2.4GHz wireless network. The system can also be controlled using the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice assistants.

Weekly scheduling
The Auraton Orion SET thermostat offers weekly programming in 5+2, 6+1 or 7-day configurations. You can set up to 6 temperature levels throughout the day with minute-by-minute precision, and the thermostat offers a total of 6 temperature programmes. This system helps you adapt the heating to the building's daily use and reduce overall energy consumption. You can set the temperature in the range of 5 to 35°C; the lower limit is 1°C and the upper limit can be set up to 70°C.
Wireless connection and range
The receiver is installed in the immediate vicinity of the heating source or directly into an electrical socket. Communication between the thermostat and the receiver occurs via radio waves at a frequency of 433.92MHz. The signal range is approximately 30m in a standard building and extends up to 300m in open spaces. The radio signal strength reaches up to 11dBm.
Operating modes
The device supports both heating and cooling modes for year-round use in various types of buildings. There is also a holiday mode, which maintains a constant temperature for up to 30 days during your absence. The integrated open window function reacts to a sudden drop in room temperature and adjusts the heating output. The room temperature can be calibrated within a range of -9 to 9°C.
Safety features and power
Frost protection maintains the temperature between 1 and 10°C to prevent pipe damage. A child lock offers the option to partially or fully lock the control panel. The device stores its settings in internal memory, even after a power cut. The current status is indicated on a clear, backlit digital LCD. The thermostat can be powered by four 3V AAA alkaline batteries or via a USB adapter. The receiver requires a standard 230V AC mains supply at 50/60Hz. You can install the thermostat directly on a wall or on an installation box indoors. The 9×13×2.5cm unit has an IP20 rating and can safely withstand ambient air humidity of up to 85% without condensation.
