CSB EVX12400 traction battery is a specialised battery suitable for mobile applications such as electric cars, bicycles, wheelchairs, golf buggies and shopping trolleys. It is designed for up to 400 discharge cycles, and the maintenance-free design guarantees high efficiency for up to 8 years in standby mode. The CSB EVX12400 valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) traction battery uses maintenance-free AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology, which allows for efficient gas recombination of up to 99%. The battery is made of pure lead and incorporates proprietary design features. It is designed for use in e-mobility or deep-cycling applications. The EVX series provides durable, specially designed energy storage for e-mobility such as electric scooters, recreational vehicles and many others. The EVX is specially designed for efficient discharge in cyclic applications. A special proprietary formula uses 99.99% pure lead ingot in the manufacture of lead oxide, lead plate grids and other lead components. Optional flame-retardant ABS case design. Meets IATA/ICAO Special Provision A67 for air transport, is classified under Amendment MG 27 as non-hazardous material for water transport and recognised by DOT as "dry cargo" under 49 CFR 171–189 for surface transport.
