Properties of fire agate
The fire agate used for this bracelet is a rarer variety of mineral. It is mined in southern Brazil in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, where it is primarily obtained from alluvial deposits. Its appearance is the result of solidifying silica gels, which created its characteristic spherical internal structure. The appearance of the stones is also influenced by finely dispersed iron pigments, such as goethite, limonite or hematite.
