The Smart Life app is a universal smart home management tool that allows you to control all supported devices directly from your mobile phone or tablet. Thanks to its wide compatibility, it supports almost every type of smart device, from lighting and thermostats to security cameras and air quality sensors. The great advantage of this app is that most devices that are compatible with Smart Life can also be controlled via its sister app TUYA Smart. Nevertheless, the manufacturer recommends that you prefer Smart Life because, unlike TUYA Smart, it also offers the advanced IFTTT (If This Then That) function, which allows you to create custom automations between different smart devices. This allows you to set up scenarios such as when the air conditioner turns on at a certain temperature or when a dehumidifier starts when it detects increased humidity.

The BOT Smart WiFi AirBox4 smart air quality sensor operates at an operating temperature of -20°C to 85°C, allowing it to be used in a variety of environments, whether in homes, offices or industrial premises. The sensor is powered by USB 5V / 1A. The operating voltage of the sensor is between 4.8 and 12 V and the low current consumption of 10-496 mA makes the device energy efficient. The sensor has a compact size of 90 × 90 × 35 mm, which makes it space-saving and easy to integrate into different spaces.
ZigBee technology
The BOT Smart Air Quality WiFi Sensor AirBox4 uses advanced ZigBee technology to communicate, enabling efficient and reliable connection of smart devices in the home. However, for the siren to work properly, it is necessary to have a ZigBee gateway (central unit/hub) that serves as a bridge between ZigBee products and the Internet. Compared to a regular WiFi connection, ZigBee works on the principle of a mesh network connection, which means that individual devices can pass the signal between each other and it is not necessary for each unit to be directly connected to a central hub. For example, if you have smart outlets or sensors scattered throughout your home, devices that are farther away from the hub can receive signals from other ZigBee products, extending the range of the entire network without the need to boost the WiFi signal.
