Sound Performance and Design
The sound is delivered by a system of two 25mm tweeters, two 90mm FST midrange drivers and one 150mm subwoofer. The total amplifier power is divided into 2×40W for the high-frequency range, 2×40W for the midrange and 1×80W for the subwoofer. The cabinet's design creates a stereo image through a precisely angled arrangement of the drivers. The integrated DSP processor and Dynamic EQ ensure optimised sound processing during playback. The speaker measures 232 × 440 × 243mm and weighs 6.5kg.
Connectivity and the Formation System
The Formation Wedge supports streaming via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a LAN network connection. It features Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect and is compatible with Tidal, Apple Music and Amazon Music. Roon Ready certification expands the possibilities for integration into your home music library. The Formation technology uses its own MESH communication network for synchronised playback between components. The model can be incorporated into a multi-room setup or an expanded system with other speakers from the Formation series.
