Sati Le Centenaire 1926 is a tribute to the founders of Sati: Georges Schulé, who opened the roastery in 1926, and his wife Georgette Schulé. This coffee blend is Mrs Georgette Schulé's personal recipe and offers a pleasant cocoa and velvety aroma. This limited edition is being presented to the public for the first time for the company's centenary. The half-kilo coffee comes in fully recyclable, aluminium-free packaging.
The basis of this blend is Georgette Schulé's personal recipe. For decades, it was a closely guarded family secret, and now, for the very first time, you can taste it too. In 1960, after her husband's death, Georgette Schulé took over the management of the family business and fundamentally shaped what Café Sati is today.
Les Cafés Sati is a French family-owned and independent company, founded in 1926 in Strasbourg, Alsace. Nearly 100 years of tradition, experience and know-how in producing quality coffee has been passed down in the Schulé family from father to son for three generations.
The selection of raw materials and the roasting process are overseen by Quality Manager Sébastien Maurer, a five-time French coffee tasting champion. Every bean passes through the hands of experts with passion and respect, who together ensure that the coffee that reaches you will delight the senses and warm the heart.
Cafés Sati is not just about taste – it's about sustainability, responsibility and trust. The company carefully selects partners among farmers and cooperatives in Central and South America and East Africa, where the highest quality Arabica varieties are born. The cooperation with these growers is built on a solid foundation of trust and fairness. For more than 20 years, the manufacturer has been offering certified organic and Fairtrade/Max Havelaar coffees, which ensures fair remuneration for farmers and supports the improvement of their living and working conditions, while Sati also protects the environment.
For Sati, sustainability is not a trend. It's a commitment. Great coffee should not come at the expense of the planet or the people who grow it. The company actively supports organic farming – the coffees carry the AB (Agriculture Biologique) certification, and Sati carefully oversees the entire process from farm to roastery. The manufacturer has launched a range of compostable capsules, which were the first of their kind to be launched in France – fully biodegradable at home, without the need for industrial processing.
