For quick daily needs, you have 5 rapid programmes under 60 minutes, and for enhanced hygiene, there's a cycle that helps eliminate 99.9% of bacteria and allergens. The AI Smart Move function improves drying evenness, even for bulkier items, while control via the hOn app adds extra convenience.
Slim depth solves the problem of limited space
Have a small bathroom or utility room where every centimetre counts? The Slim design is perfect for such situations. The Candy ProDry 500 SLIM dryer has a depth of just 45.3cm without the door and connections, and a total depth of 52.4cm including them. This allows it to fit better where a standard dryer would get in the way – and when paired with the ProWash 500 slim washing machines, you get a compact and matching set.
Inverter motor and heat pump for economical and quiet drying
The Speed Drive inverter motor ensures quieter operation with a noise level of just 62dB(A), so your drying cycle won't disturb your daily household routine. The heat pump adds energy savings and gentleness to your laundry – drying takes place at low temperatures, so clothes better retain their shape and quality. Another benefit is the long-term reliable performance of the appliance.

The Candy ProDry 500 offers five efficient quick cycles: Quick 14 min, Refresh (Quick) 20 min, Quick eco 30 min, Quick 45 min, and Genius 59 min. This makes it easy to choose the right duration depending on how much laundry you're drying and how much of a hurry you're in.
Four levels of automatic sensor drying
Sensor drying monitors the moisture level of your laundry and helps achieve the desired result without unnecessary over-drying. There are 4 levels available: Ready to Iron (laundry remains slightly damp), Hanger Dry, Cupboard Dry (ready to be put away), and Extra Dry (ideal for a full load and maximum dryness).
Bi-directional drum rotation for gentle handling of your garments
The AI Smart Move function uses bi-directional drum rotation to dry laundry more evenly, reduce tangling, and minimise creasing. The cushioned drum surface also ensures a gentler contact with fabrics, which you'll appreciate especially with more delicate clothing.
A programme that cleverly detects laundry moisture
The Genius programme continuously assesses the moisture inside the drum and automatically adjusts the required drying time accordingly. The maximum duration is 59 minutes, making it a practical choice when you want a quick result without unnecessarily over-drying your laundry.
Gentle care for premium garments
For very delicate fabrics, there is the Silk programme, which dries at a low temperature and helps prevent over-drying and shrinkage. The dryer automatically detects when the laundry is dry and ends the cycle at the right time – the result is more sensitive care for materials that deserve careful handling.

The special wool cycle, certified by Woolmark Apparel Care, is designed for the safe drying of woollen garments. It reduces friction, helps prevent wear and pilling, and carefully controls the temperature to keep your wool in great condition.

The delayed start function lets you schedule the cycle to finish exactly when it suits you – up to 24 hours in advance. The dryer then calculates when to start the cycle. For extra convenience, the package includes a hose for draining condensate directly, so you don't have to worry about manually emptying the water container.
