Kvalitní digitální zrcadlovka pro pokročilejší uživatele. Vyniká moderním a citlivým CMOS čipem s vysokým rozlišením, rychlým systémem automatického zaostřování s 45 křížovými ostřícími body, polohovatelným dotykovým LCD monitorem a velmi dobrou ergonomií v robustním provedení, které vyhoví i větší ruce. Rychlé sériové snímání, kvalitní video Full-HD/60p a samozřejmě nechybí ani bezdrátová konektivita Wi-Fi + NFC. Obecně jedna z nejlepších digitálních zrcadlovek s formátem čipu APS-C. Koupě samotného těla dodává svobodu volby objektivu a dalšího příslušenství z velmi rozsáhlé nabídky systému Canon EOS.
Nedostatků je naprosté minimum, snad jen, že by se u takto pokročilého přístroje hodil ještě jeden slot na paměťovou kartu. Pro někoho také konkurence v podobě menších zrcadlovek s méně funkcemi, ale skoro stejným výstupem.
