COTYLENA vaginal tablets containing clotrimazole are broad-spectrum antifungal agents for the treatment of yeast infections (especially Candida) and other fungal infections of the vagina. Difficulties such as vaginal discharge (whitish, lumpy, odourless), itching or redness in the vagina and vulva, burning of the vagina or vulva, swelling and soreness of the tissues of the vagina and vulva can arise, for example. as a result of antibiotic treatment, in diabetic patients, with excessive consumption of sweets, when taking hormonal contraceptives, after bathing in polluted water, but also when wearing leak-proof and tight underwear. The product is suitable for women and girls from 12 years of age.

Use the product according to the package insert. Apply 1 vaginal tablet daily, preferably in the evening, for 3 days. Start treatment in the middle of the menstrual cycle to avoid interruption. If the tablet does not dissolve completely, in case of too dry vaginal mucosa, COTYLENA cream 10 mg/g is preferable.
Ingredients
One vaginal tablet contains clotrimazole 200 mg.
Excipients: lactose monohydrate, cornstarch, sodium bicarbonate, polysorbate 80, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica, stearic acid 95%, adipic acid
Notice
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, planning to become pregnant, or suspect pregnancy, consult your physician beforehand about the appropriateness of using COTYLENA 200 mg Vaginal Tablets. The use of the product in the 1st trimester and during breastfeeding is decided by the doctor. If the doctor recommends the use of the product in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters, it is necessary to introduce vaginal tablets without an applicator.
In the case of dry vaginal mucosa, the vaginal tablet may not dissolve completely and you may see, for example, solid pieces of tablet residue on your underwear. In this case, instead of treatment with vaginal tablets, treatment with COTYLENA 10 mg/g vaginal cream should be started.
Storage
Store at temperatures up to 30 °C. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use the product after the expiry date stated on the packaging after "EXP". The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated. Do not dispose of any medicines in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of products you no longer use. These measures help protect the environment.
