This soundbar's low profile will make the Denon Soundbar fit into most spaces and, with its modern sleek design, it will be a suitable addition to any living room. Advanced algorithms of DTS Virtual:X technology simulates multichannel surround sound as accurately as possible, so the image of the movie will be in front of you, but you'll hear the sound all around you as if youwere in the movie. Virtual Height and Virtual Surround provide rich bass, clear dialogues and surround sound.
Wide Range of Connectors
With 4K UHD HDMI ports, you'll be able to listen to audio from your favourite streaming apps. An HDMI cable is included in the package for easy installation to your TV. If the Denon DHT-S216 soundbar is connected via HDMI cable with ARC, you can use the TV remote to control the volume. To listen to music from your phone, just connect via Bluetooth and your house party can getstarted.
Denon DHT-S216 Soundbar Function Modes
A very interesting feature of the Denon DHT-S216 soundbar is the preset modes designed to respond to any type of sound settings. Active speakers have a custom built-in amplifier (typically a PC speakers). Conversely, passive systems require an external amplifier, from which the sound goes to each speaker.
The number of channels refers to the number of independent audio signals that can be reproduced simultaneously. An example might be 2-channel stereo sound, where each channel represents one ear (left and right), or 5.1 channel surround sound, which has five full channels (front left, center, front right, rear left, rear right) and one channel for the subwoofer.
The number of bands refers to the number of frequency bands that the loudspeaker or system reproduces. A single-band loudspeaker produces all the sounds from a single transducer, while a multi-band loudspeaker has multiple transducers, each optimised for a specific frequency range (e.g. high, mid, low frequencies). Multiband systems often provide better sound quality because each band can be reproduced by a transducer designed specifically for that frequency range.

Subwoofers are speakers designed to reproduce low frequencies, usually referred to as bass. There are two basic types of subwoofers: active and passive. Active subwoofers have their own amplifier integrated directly into the unit, while passive subwoofers require an external amplifier for power. Active subwoofers are often considered more user-friendly because they do not require additional equipment to function, while passive subwoofers can provide a higher level of control over the sound.
