DJI's modern and compact microphone features an adaptive volume boost function that can be set directly on the receiver or in the DJI Mimo app, with Regular as the default mode. Automatic mode effectively prevents sound distortion, making it ideal for use in outdoor environments with significant volume fluctuations, such as sporting events. When set to dynamic mode, the gain automatically adjusts according to changes in volume, ensuring consistent volume. This is particularly useful for quiet indoor environments, such as studios. The DJI Mic 3 microphone will also offer preset voice tones. Regular for a clear, natural and balanced sound. Rich will provide bass enhancement and sound reinforcement. The mode boosts high frequencies, adding clarity and sparkle to the voice.

Effective noise cancellation and easy operation

The microphone features two-stage noise cancellation for clear sound. The Basic level is suitable for quiet indoor environments, suppressing fan, air conditioning and echo noise while keeping your voice clear and intelligible. The Strong level excels in noisy environments, where it significantly suppresses ambient noise for a clearer voice. The DJI Mic 3 is equipped with a 1.1-inch OLED touchscreen display, which, in conjunction with the precision dial, allows quick and easy access to important information and settings. You'll be able to see the volume setting, battery level and adjust the gain, volume, brightness and more. You will see all the necessary information about the status of the device on the display.

DJI Mic 3 delivers reliable performance

The DJI Mic 3 receiver can be connected to up to four transmitters at once, so you can simultaneously record from four audio sources. The main receiver can also synchronise audio with up to seven other receivers. The receiver allows you to choose between Mono and Stereo (two-channel) mode - you can record audio from each transmitter separately, or combine it into one track depending on the situation or recording style. DJI Mic 3 supports automatic frequency switching between the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands with a range of up to 400 meters. Thanks to its high resistance to interference, it ensures stable audio transmission even in the face of strong interference from other wireless devices, for example at trade fairs. When Lossless Audio is enabled, the transmitter sends uncompressed 48 kHz, 24-bit audio directly to the receiver. This ensures that every footage is captured with stunning fidelity and quality.

Internal recording in 32bit float format with double recording

The DJI Mic 3 supports internal recording in 32bit float format with dual recording. So you don't have to worry about losing your record. The microphone records both the original track and the algorithm-enhanced version. Internal record in format 32bit float offers wide dynamic range,which ensures high quality recordings and better adaptation to complex sound environments. Mic 3 offers high-precision timecode support. After the recording you can look forward to Seamless file export. After shooting, simply use the charging case and USB-C data cable to connect both transmitters to your computer or smartphone. Even editing and subsequent sharing is very fast and easy, all internally recorded files will be transferred at once. You can also connect the transmitter to the DJI Outside app to download the audio files.

Excellent endurance for easy recording

On a full charge, the transmitter can record for up to 8 hours and the receiver for up to 10 hours. With the charging case, you can be ready to shoot at all times, as the case will provide approximately 2.4 full charges, bringing the DJI Mic 3's battery life up to 28 hours*. With 3C fast charging support, a full charge takes only about 50 minutes. With the help of smart features, microphone use is extended even further. The transmitter will automatically go to sleep if no signal is detected from the receiver. When the signal is detected again, it wakes up and reconnects to the receiver. On the receiver display or in the DJI Mimo app, you can set the transmitter and receiver to automatically turn off after a period of inactivity. If the receiver is connected by cable to your smartphone, it is powered directly from the phone. If you connect an external power source to the receiver's USB-C port, you can charge both the receiver and your phone at the same time, so you can continue recording without interruption.
