Filament Technology
Filament technology uses COB (Chip-on-Board) chips arranged to look like a classic tungsten filament. This means that even when lit, the bulb resembles a traditional light bulb, making it suitable for open light fittings where the light source is visible. This design contributes to a high luminous efficacy of 212lm/W, which places the bulb in energy class A. The wide 300° beam angle helps to distribute light evenly throughout the room.
Luminous flux is a measure of the total amount of visible light emitted by a light source and is expressed in lumens (lm). Higher luminous flux means higher light output. This parameter is important when choosing a luminaire because it affects how bright the lighting in a space will be.
Minimum chromaticity refers to the lowest level of colour tone that a light source can offer. This value is important for environments where soft and gentle light with a lower colour temperature is desired, such as relaxation rooms or living rooms where a relaxing atmosphere is desired.
Maximum chromaticity refers to the highest level of colour tone that a light source can achieve. This value is crucial for spaces where brighter, crisper light with a higher colour temperature is required, such as work areas, kitchens or places where maximum visibility is needed.
The Colour Rendering Index (CRI) is a measure of how accurately a light source displays colours compared to sunlight. A higher CRI value means that colours will look more natural under that light. This parameter is important in shops, galleries and anywhere where an accurate and realistic display of colour is required.

The socket is the end of the bulb or fluorescent lamp used to connect to the luminaire, it varies in shape and size, determines the compatibility and type of lighting application.
