The Epson EB-770F projector uses 3LCD imaging technology to project in native Full HD 1920×1080 resolution with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The laser light source produces a brightness of 4100 ANSI lumens which, combined with a high contrast ratio of over 5,000,000:1, delivers a bright and clear image even in rooms that are not completely dark. As a UST projector with an ultra-short throw, it requires minimal distance from the projection surface. This design eliminates shadows and presenter glare. The image can be scaled up to a 150" screen size, and the device supports ceiling, wall, or tabletop installation.

Image properties and ultra-short throw
The 3LCD technology displays content with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a contrast ratio of over 5,000,000:1. The image size can be smoothly scaled from 49" to 150". Thanks to the ultra-short throw ratio of 0.25–0.35:1, you only need to place the projector a few centimetres from the wall, which prevents shadows from forming in the image. For precise image geometry tuning, it features manual keystone correction within a ±3° range on both axes and a 1.35x digital zoom.
Light source and operation
The laser light source provides a lifespan of 20,000 hours in standard operation, which extends to 30,000 hours in the power-saving ECO mode. Switching to ECO mode also reduces power consumption from 197W to 141W and lowers cooling noise from 37dB (A) to 27dB (A). The laser projector thus operates with minimal maintenance requirements. For basic presentation audio, the projector integrates a 16W speaker, which covers the needs of smaller rooms.
Flexible installation and control
The projector offers flexible placement options. It can be installed on a ceiling or wall mount, or simply placed on a table. With dimensions of 133×356×395mm and a weight of 5.9kg, handling and installation are straightforward. The native operating system supports features like auto power-on upon signal detection and quick start-up without long waits. Control is handled by the remote control or a network interface.
Projector connectivity options
For sharing content from laptops and mobile devices, there is integrated WiFi with support for Wi-Fi Direct and Miracast screen mirroring. Physical connectivity includes a wide range of ports. For digital signal sources, the projector offers three HDMI inputs. Older devices can be connected using two VGA inputs, while one VGA output is used for linking to an additional monitor. Network connectivity is provided by an Ethernet port. The equipment also includes two USB 2.0-A ports, an RS-232C, a composite input, and audio connectors.
