Epson EB-L690SE

Epson EB-L690SE
The Epson EB-L690SE projector uses 3LCD display technology to create an image with a native resolution of 1920 × 1200 WUXGA. As a short-throw laser projector, it is designed for installations where space is limited. With a throw ratio of 0.50–0.70:1, it projects a large image without shadows or reflections, even from a short distance. The laser light source delivers a brightness of 6000 ANSI lumens, which places it among WUXGA projectors suitable for well-lit spaces. The projector also supports 4K Enhancement technology for sharper details and rendering of fine textures. The laser source lifetime reaches 20000 hours in normal mode and up to 30000 hours in ECO mode, reducing maintenance requirements.

Image quality and technology
3LCD technology processes the image at a native resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The system effectively prevents the rainbow effect and delivers consistent colour and white light output. To enhance perceived sharpness and detail, the projector implements 4K Enhancement technology and supports HDR. A dynamic contrast ratio exceeding 5000000:1 ensures deep blacks and clear details in dark scenes.
Performance and operating features
The laser light source provides high performance and a long lifetime without the need for lamp replacement. In normal mode, its lifetime reaches 20000 hours with a brightness of 6000 ANSI lumens. In the energy-saving ECO mode, the lifetime extends to 30000 hours, while the brightness drops to a still sufficient 4200 ANSI lumens. The operating noise level is 36dB in normal mode. When the quiet ECO mode is activated, the fan noise is reduced to just 26dB, promoting an undisturbed working environment. The total power consumption of the device is 415W.
Installation flexibility and short throw
The short throw ratio of 0.50–0.70:1 allows you to project a large image from a minimal distance, which reduces shadows from the presenter on the screen. The projector creates an image with a screen size size of 100" to 500" from a projection distance of 1.09 to 7.8 metres. The image geometry can be easily adjusted using manual keystone correction in both horizontal and vertical directions within a range of ±30°. The projector also offers a 1.4× manual zoom and lens shift. It can be placed on the ceiling, freely on a table, or you can use the 360° projection option for installation at any angle.
Advanced features and control
For professional use, the projector offers advanced features. The projector supports HDR technology and offers a range of functions for professional applications. These include network projection, web control, or management via the iProjection app. For multi-projector installations, there is an Edge Blending function for seamless image joining and Point correction for geometry adjustments. The split-screen function displays content from two different sources simultaneously. Setup is also made easier by NFC technology for quick configuration. The projector can also display in an ultra-widescreen 16:6 format.
Connectivity options
For connecting signal sources, the projector offers a wide range of interfaces. There are two HDMI inputs with HDCP 2.3 support, a separate HDMI output, and an HDBaseT interface for transmitting audio-visual content and control over a single long-distance cable. Network connectivity is handled by an Ethernet (LAN) port. The equipment also includes two USB 2.0-A ports for direct playback, a USB-B service port, a serial RS-232C interface, and a stereo audio output. Wireless connection is optional.
