Choosing a power supply
When choosing a suitable PC power supply, the key parameter besides the form factor is its power output. This indicates the maximum number of watts the power supply can continuously deliver to the computer's components. It's a good idea to use an online calculator to work out the optimal power output based on your chosen components.
Efficient power with 80 PLUS Gold certification
The EVOLVEO G850 achieves up to 92% efficiency, meaning most of the energy supplied is converted directly into power for your components, with minimal loss as heat. Thanks to its 80 PLUS Gold certification, you can count on lower electricity consumption and a stable voltage under long-term load. The power supply is ideal for gaming rigs and professional workstations that demand reliable performance without compromise.
Modular design for a clean and efficient layout
Fully modular cabling gives you complete freedom – you only connect the cables you actually need. This improves airflow inside the computer case and lowers the temperature of all your components. The package includes all the essential connectors, including the modern 12V-2x6 PCIe 5.1 for new graphics cards, so the power supply is ready for future hardware generations.
The EVOLVEO G850 offers quiet operation and intelligent cooling
Cooling is handled by a 140mm fan with a Hydraulic Dynamic Bearing (HDB), which combines quiet operation, a long lifespan and optimal airflow. Thanks to thermal regulation, the fan speed automatically adjusts to the current load, so the power supply remains almost silent during normal use. A special honeycomb grille with over 350 holes also ensures maximum airflow efficiency.
Reliability and safety first
The EVOLVEO G850 is equipped with a suite of eight protection circuits that safeguard your build from overvoltage, overload, short circuits, and overheating. Premium Japanese capacitors, rated up to 105°C, guarantee stable performance even during prolonged operation and a lifespan of up to 20 years. Add to that the quality construction from 0.7mm thick steel sheets, and you get a power supply that can withstand even extreme use. In short, the EVOLVEO G850 is a certainty that keeps pace with your performance.
A computer power supply with high-quality cabling
With the EVOLVEO G850 80Plus Gold, you receive high-quality cables with premium braiding, providing a long lifespan and tidy routing in any PC case. The clearly laid out connectors cover all the needs of today's high-end builds – including the main 24-pin ATX, a dual EPS 4+4 pin for modern processors, and the powerful PCI-E 5.1 (12V-2x6) for new, power-hungry graphics cards. The sufficiently long cables ensure a hassle-free installation even in larger Big Tower cases. There are also four PCI-E 6+2 pin connectors, which let you power multiple graphics cards or powerful expansion cards. You also get a rich set of SATA and MOLEX connectors, guaranteeing compatibility with both modern and older components – from SSDs to fans and RGB controllers.

80 Plus certification on the European market
The 80 Plus certification was created to objectively assess the efficiency of computer power supplies. This gives users a simple and clear way to compare different models. On the European market (which uses a 230V voltage), there are six levels of 80 Plus certification, each with set requirements for computer power supplies. Higher energy efficiency primarily means lower energy consumption.
| PC PSU load | Efficiency at 20% load | Efficiency at 50% load | Efficiency at 100% load |
|---|---|---|---|
| 80 PLUS | 82% | 85% | 82% |
| 80 PLUS Bronze | 85% | 88% | 85% |
| 80 PLUS Silver | 87% | 90% | 87% |
| 80 PLUS Gold | 90% | 92% | 89% |
| 80 PLUS Platinum | 92% | 94% | 90% |
| 80 PLUS Titanium | 94% | 96% | 94% |
