EVOLVEO Pulse 450W Black
The EVOLVEO Pulse 450 W supplies power to components in ATX 2.2-compliant computer systems. It delivers a total output of 450 W to power office computers and less demanding home computers. The PFC active power factor correction integrated circuit helps to improve the efficiency of power consumption from the mains. The temperature control automatically adjusts the fan speed. It thus keeps noise levels low during normal operation and increases cooling capacity only when necessary. The power supply complies with the RoHS standard and is CE certified, and features a mains switch for easy disconnection from the mains.

Selecting a source
When choosing a suitable PC power supply, power output is a key factor alongside the form factor. This indicates the maximum number of watts that the power supply is capable of continuously delivering to the computer’s components. It is advisable to use the online calculator to work out the optimal performance based on your chosen components.
Connector equipment
The cable kit includes the necessary connectors for powering the motherboard and the processor. There are two SATA connectors and two Molex connectors for hard drives and other peripherals. A single 8-pin PCI-E connector with a 6+2 configuration is used to power discrete graphics cards. The power supply therefore powers standard computer systems, including those with a dedicated graphics card.

80 Plus certification on the European market
The 80 Plus certification was established to provide an objective assessment of the efficiency of computer power supplies. This provides users with a simple and clear comparison of the different models. On the European market (where the voltage is 230 V), there are six levels of 80 Plus certification, each with specific requirements for computer power supplies. Greater energy efficiency means, above all, lower energy consumption.
| PC power supply load | Efficiency at 20% load | Efficiency at 50% load | Efficiency at 100% load |
|---|---|---|---|
| 80 PLUS | 82 % | 85 % | 82 % |
| 80 PLUS Bronze | 85 % | 88 % | 85 % |
| 80 PLUS Silver | 87 % | 90 % | 87 % |
| 80 PLUS Gold | 90 % | 92% | 89 % |
| 80 PLUS Platinum | 92% | 94 % | 90 % |
