The Fractal Design Era 2 Charcoal Gray computer case is designed for Mini ITX builds, making efficient use of its internal space. The outer shell is made from anodised aluminium, complemented by a magnetically attached walnut wood top panel that allows for airflow. The internal structure features a sliding central wall, which allows you to adjust the layout by 15mm to favour either CPU or graphics card cooling. The case supports SFX and SFX-L power supplies and allows for the installation of powerful components while maintaining compact external dimensions.
The outer shell is formed from a single piece of shaped aluminium, complemented by a magnetically attached, FSC-certified top panel. The ventilation system efficiently directs airflow through the entire structure, keeping components at optimal temperatures. A simple mechanism provides tool-free removal of the outer shell and top bracket for easy access to hardware, simplifying both installation and component servicing.
The interior accommodates graphics cards up to 326mm long and supports liquid cooling with a radiator up to 280mm. Two included Aspect 12 PWM fans actively dissipate heat from the bottom of the build. The case is equipped with an integrated PCIe 4.0 riser cable for graphics card installation and a front panel with a USB-C port for high-speed data transfer.
