The FSP Fortron NE5-WA processor cooler keeps modern processors at low operating temperatures using a combination of active and passive cooling. Its design features a base, four copper heat pipes, and dense aluminium finning that effectively dissipates heat. The active part is handled by a 120mm diameter fan with automatic PWM speed control, ranging from 800 to 1600 rpm. This system adapts the cooling performance to the current CPU load while maintaining low noise levels. The cooler supports Intel 1200, 1700, 1851 and AMD AM4 and AM5 sockets.

Heat dissipation
Four copper heat pipes with direct contact to the processor's heat spreader instantly absorb thermal energy, which then travels to the dense aluminium finning. Its large surface area facilitates heat dissipation into the surrounding air. The final heat removal from the passive section is handled by a 120mm diameter fan, which forces air through the finning with an airflow of up to 62 CFM. This principle keeps the CPU's operating temperatures at stable levels, even under heavy load.
Automatic speed control
The air cooler uses a single 120mm diameter fan with automatic PWM control. The speed smoothly varies from 800 to 1600 rpm depending on the current processor load. This mechanism contributes to quiet operation; under low load, the fan runs at minimum speed with a noise level below 28dB(A).
Compatibility and appearance
The mounting system supports a wide range of platforms. You can install the cooler on Intel 1200, 1700, and 1851 sockets, as well as on AMD AM4 and AM5 sockets. The fan includes integrated RGB backlighting to visually match other components in your build. The total cooler height of 151mm requires adequate space in the computer case.
