Discover what it's like to be a castaway
As a man or woman, you'll find yourself stranded, naked, freezing, and starving on the shores of a mysterious island called ARK. You must hunt, harvest resources, craft items, grow crops, research technologies, and build shelters to withstand the elements. Use your cunning and resources to kill or tame and breed the colossal dinosaurs and other primeval creatures.
First-class graphics
The realistic depiction of the world of ARK and its creatures is brought to expressive life using the highly customisable Unreal Engine 4, along with fully dynamic lighting, global illumination, and weather systems (rain, water, snow, etc.).
Create a tribe and add your friends to it. All your pets can then be commanded by and allied with anyone in your tribe.
The mysterious ARK is a formidable and imposing environment, composed of many natural and unnatural structures above ground, underground, and underwater.
Hardcore mechanics
Everything you craft has a certain durability and will wear out with frequent use if not repaired. When you leave the game, your character remains asleep while the world goes on. Your inventory exists physically in boxes or on your character in the world. Everything can be looted and stolen, so for greater security, you must team up, build, or have tamed animals to guard your stash.
The purchased Nintendo Switch product code must be activated in Nintendo eShop, which can be found in the console menu:
1) Select "Nintendo eShop" on the HOME Menu.
2) Select the account you want to use.
3) Select “Enter Code” on the left side of the screen.
4) Enter the 16-character download code and click "Confirm".
5) The game will begin downloading once the code is confirmed.
The purchased 3DS / 2DS product code must be activated in Nintendo eShop, which can be found in the console menu:
1) Select "Nintendo eShop" on the HOME Menu.
2) Select "Menu" followed by "Redeem Download Code".
3) Click the box labeled "Enter a download code".
4) Enter the purchased code and click "OK".
5) Click "OK" again and select "Download Now" to start downloading.
