GS Mamavit 2 is specially formulated for pregnant women, especially in the 2nd and 3rd trimester of pregnancy, and breastfeeding mothers. It prepares the body for the demanding period of pregnancy and lays the foundation for the healthy development of the baby. It contains a complete and balanced combination of 23 vitamins and minerals, including a high dose of folic acid in its natural form. In addition, enriched with omega-3 unsaturated acids with a high content of DHA and EPA to ensure proper growth and development of the baby, its brain and eyesight.

Active ingredients
- Omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids are known for their beneficial effects on the body. The most important omega-3 acids are DHA and EPA. However, the human body is not able to create them on its own, so we must take them in our diet. Do you eat enough seafood? For a sufficient intake, it is optimal to consume mainly marine fish and algae - optimally 3 times a week. The need for omega-3s increases during pregnancy, especially from the second trimester onwards and during breastfeeding. DHA contributes to the normal development of the eyes and brain of the fetus in the body of the mother and infants nourished by breast milk. The beneficial effect is achieved by a daily intake of 200 mg of DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids for adults, i.e. 250 mg of DHA and EPA.
- GS Mamavit 2 contains DHA and EPA in their natural form, which makes them 50% more absorbable than semi-synthetic ethyl esters. In addition, the capsules are treated with a special DHA MMV Technology®, thanks to which the capsule is not dissolved in the acidic environment of the stomach, but only in the small intestine. Your body gets everything it needs without the unpleasant side effects of regular DHA-containing capsules. Capsules with DHA MMV Technology are thus free of the typical fishy smell and aftertaste.
- Folic acid in its natural form is involved in proper cell division and thus contributes to the growth of germ tissues during pregnancy.
- Vitamin B1, B12, iron and magnesium help overcome the tiredness and fatigue that pregnancy often brings. Increased calcium and phosphorus content is necessary for bone and teeth building.
- Magnesium is important for the proper function of the nervous and circulatory systems and the proper function of muscles, including the uterine muscles.
- Iron is important for proper blood formation. Its need increases especially in the last weeks before birth due to the increased need of the baby's organism. Optimal iodine content is important for proper thyroid function.
- Vitamin A, B1, B2, B6, niacin, vitamin B12, C and D are substances, which the mother's body requires in greater quantities during pregnancy and lactation.
- Vitamin A is present in the form of beta-carotene, from which the mother's body makes vitamin A according to the actual need, so there is no risk of overdose.
- Vitamin E and selenium form protection against free radicals.

Recommended dosage
Take 1 tablet and 1 capsule once daily after or with meals, with plenty of liquid (preferably plain water). The tablet can be halved for more comfortable use. It is not recommended to take other vitamin preparations at the same time. The product is sugar-free, gluten-free and lactose-free.
