Helicid 10 mg 28 capsules
Helicid 10 mg reduces the production of stomach acid. Helicid 10 mg is indicated for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms such as heartburn and acid regurgitation. In reflux, acidic stomach contents return to the oesophagus, where they can cause inflammation and pain. There is usually a burning sensation in the chest that rises to the mouth and a sour feeling in the mouth (acid regurgitation). Helicid 10 mg capsules are for adults.
When to use Helicid 10 mg?
For short- and long-term treatment of duodenal and gastric ulcers, duodenal and gastric ulcers caused by the administration of painkillers and inflammation of joints and muscles.
For ulcerative diseases of the duodenum and stomach with bacterial infection of the stomach. In oesophagitis caused by the return of gastric contents to the oesophagus (reflux oesophagitis) in adults and children from one year of age.
In diseases with symptoms caused by the return of stomach contents to the oesophagus (symptomatic oesophageal reflux disease), indigestion manifested by pain in the epigastric and other parts of the abdomen, heartburn, return of acidic or bitter stomach contents to the oesophagus and general loss of appetite.
Dosage and method of use
Adults take 2 capsules once a day preferably in the morning for 14 days. Sometimes it may be necessary to take the capsules for 2-3 consecutive days before symptoms improve. Do not take for more than 14 days without consulting your doctor.
