The Hit-Air MLV 2 airbag vest in black, size M, provides comprehensive protection for the upper body in the event of a fall from a motorcycle or scooter. The enlarged collar reliably secures the helmet, preventing it from shifting or coming off and helping to prevent head injuries. Made from the best available materials, the airbag vest is lightweight, comfortable and allows for individual size adjustment. The Japanese manufacturer Hit-Air guarantees excellent quality, which is confirmed by the CE EN 1621-4 certificate. Attaching it to the motorcycle is simple, as is replacing the cartridge after activation. Activation occurs within 77–92ms. The mechanical design requires no recharging or maintenance. The vest will deploy even in a low-speed fall, increasing the chances of minimising injury. Its weight ranges from 1,400–1,600g depending on the size, and the CO₂ cartridge weighs 270 grams.

The Hit-Air MLV 2 Vest Adapts Easily to Any Body Shape

The protective elements of the Hit-Air MLV 2 vest may seem cumbersome, but in practice they do not restrict movement in any way. Adjustable internal straps allow you to tailor the size to your body shape. The vest is made of 600D polyester, nylon straps and polyester mesh. Polyurethane was used for the airbag, and the part behind the activation mechanism is supplemented with visco-elastane.

Easy Installation and Use of the MLV 2 Airbag Vest

The motorcycle airbag vest works on a mechanical principle. A carbon-kevlar cable connects it to the motorcycle frame under the seat or another suitable location. The activation is similar to a seatbelt – it only engages in a real fall. The deployment is calibrated to a force corresponding to a fall (usually from 30km/h and above). After activation, the vest deflates on its own within two minutes. It can then be prepared for use again: deflate any excess air, activate the mechanism with an Allen key and insert a new CO₂ cartridge.
