Bison Poly Max Crystal Express is a transparent, fast-drying, extremely high-quality special mounting adhesive for bonding and fixing smooth, absorbent and non-absorbent materials indoors and outdoors. It is designed for bonding and mounting PVC, ABS, metals, stone, glass and various plastics to a range of materials such as metals, plastics, glass, marble, stone, plexiglass, tiles, etc. It is also suitable for mounting mirrors on smooth surfaces and bonding expanded polystyrene to metals (e.g. for insulating garage doors), tiles, wall tiles and more. Handling strength is achieved after just 2 hours, and final strength after approx. 4 hours (if at least one material is absorbent). The bonded joint is elastic, absorbs vibrations, does not shrink, and has excellent combination capabilities. The adhesive is resistant to moisture, weathering and temperatures from -40°C to +100°C, and it is paintable. Coverage is 5–8m²/kg.
Instructions for use:
BONDING AND FIXING: The surfaces to be bonded must be dry and free of dust. Apply the adhesive to one side in dots or strips and press the surfaces together. For heavy materials, fix the bonded parts for 2 hours. The joint will reach full strength after 4 hours (condition: at least one of the materials must be porous). The bonded parts can be adjusted for a few minutes. The minimum working temperature is 5°C. Uncured adhesive can be removed with a damp cloth.
SEALING: Apply the sealant evenly into the joints. Within 10 minutes, smooth with a damp (water with lemon-free washing-up liquid) trowel, spatula or finger. Seal vertical joints from the bottom up. The surface will be dry in approx. 15 minutes. Complete curing takes several days (depending on the thickness) – the curing speed is approximately 2mm/24 hours.
Please note:
Use in temperatures ranging from 5 to 40°C. Store in a cool, dry place; the adhesive must not be allowed to freeze. Shelf life is 18 months; this may be shorter after opening. Not classified according to CLP regulation.
