Ceresit Waterproofing CL 51 Express 1-K, 15 kg
CL 51 is a fast drying one-component elastic waterproofing designed for seamless sealing of substrates before bonding ceramic, gres or stoneware tiles. It is ideal for use in interior areas exposed to moisture such as bathrooms, kitchens, toilets, showers or laundry rooms. Thanks to its waterproof and elastic structure, it effectively bridges cracks in the substrate and protects the substrate from moisture penetration. The waterproofing is ready for immediate application and adheres to all dry, firm and load-bearing substrates. The tiles can be glued after only 4 hours, which speeds up the construction process. It also meets the standards for lightweight insulation and is compatible with underfloor heating. Suitable for combination with CL 152. Packaging 2 kg, 5 kg and 15 kg.

How to use:
1. The substrate must be dry, clean, straight, fixed, load-bearing, dimensionally stable, free of substances affecting adhesion, like fats, resin, Dust. Remove contamination and layers with insufficient adhesion. The substrate must be free of cracks and fissures.
2. Mix the waterproofing thoroughly with a low-speed electric mixer before use. The product is ready to use. Apply the undiluted waterproofing evenly on the pre-prepared substrate using a trowel, roller or brush. In order to obtain waterproof protection of the substrate, at least 2 layers with a total thickness of min. 1.0 mm.
3. Always apply the first coat with a trowel or brush. Apply the second coat with a trowel, roller or brush after approx. 1.5 hours. Apply the layers crosswise over each other. Each subsequent coat can only be applied when the previous one has already dried. The insulation layer must be reinforced in expansion and transition joints by inserting an insulation strip.
