The D-c-fix self-adhesive film will breathe new life into your furniture. It's also suitable for window panes, storage boxes, ring binders, jars, tiles, doors, door frames and kitchen units. It is non-toxic, safe for children's rooms, environmentally friendly and lightfast. It contains no heavy metals and the adhesive used is solvent-free. It's also resistant to abrasion. You can apply it to any smooth, dry and clean surface, as well as absorbent surfaces. The D-c-fix film has an integrated self-adhesive layer, which makes it easy to apply. You can cut it to the size you need using scissors or a utility knife.

How to use:
Use a pencil and ruler to draw any shape you like on the backing paper. The grid on the back makes it easy to cut the film to the desired size. First, peel off only about 10cm of the backing paper, position the film on the edge and stick it down. Then, slowly peel off the rest of the backing paper, smoothing the film with a plastic squeegee or a clean cloth from the centre outwards to prevent bubbles from forming. If any bubbles do appear, simply prick them carefully with a pin. After pricking, push out the remaining air with the squeegee and smooth the film down. If you apply the film crookedly, you can carefully peel it off and stick it on again; the adhesive only reaches its full strength after a few hours. Application can be made easier using the 'wet method', where you lightly spray the surface with water and washing-up liquid from a spray bottle before application. This will make it easier to position the film. When wrapping edges, it is a good idea to warm the film with a hairdryer (on the lowest setting). The heated film can then be easily wrapped around corners and edges. Just be careful not to pull it too tightly, as this can cause unwanted tears.
