The D-c-fix self-adhesive film will revitalise the look of your furniture. It's also suitable for window panes, storage boxes, files, jars, tiles, doors, frames, or kitchen units. It is non-toxic, environmentally friendly and lightfast. It contains no heavy metals, and the adhesive used is solvent-free. It is also resistant to abrasion. You can apply it to all smooth, dry, and clean surfaces, as well as absorbent ones. The D-c-fix film has an integrated self-adhesive layer, which makes it easy to apply. You can cut it to the size you need using scissors or a utility knife.

How to use:
Use a pencil and ruler to draw any shape you like on the backing paper. The grid on the back makes it easy to cut the film to the required size. First, peel off only about 10cm of the backing paper, position the film on the edges and stick it down. Then, slowly pull off the rest of the backing paper, smoothing the film with a plastic squeegee or a clean cloth from the centre outwards to avoid bubbles. If any bubbles do appear, just prick them carefully with a pin. After pricking, push out the remaining air with the squeegee and smooth the film down. If you apply the film crookedly, you can carefully peel it off and stick it on again; the adhesive only reaches its full strength after a few hours. You can make application easier with the 'wet method' by lightly spraying the surface with a water and detergent solution from a spray bottle before applying. This will make positioning the film easier. When covering edges, it's a good idea to warm the film with a hairdryer (on the lowest setting). The heated film can then be easily wrapped around corners and edges. Just be careful not to pull it too hard, to avoid unwanted tears.
