SOILY AROID™ - Peat-Free Substrate 5L
Potzillas SOILY AROID™ substrate is a specially mixed peat-free blend for growing houseplants from the Araceae family. It is suitable for species such as Monstera, Philodendron, Alocasia, or Epipremnum, which require a well-aerated root ball. Its coarser and airy structure ensures plenty of air reaches the roots and prevents them from becoming waterlogged. The base consists of coconut coir, vermicompost, perlite, and other organo-mineral components that promote healthy growth.

Peat-free composition for healthy plants
The substrate contains no peat, making it a more sustainable alternative to common growing mixes. The main ingredient is coconut coir, which has a naturally balanced pH and a stable structure. Thanks to its low content of easily decomposable organic matter, it helps to reduce the conditions for fungus gnat infestations. The coarser texture suits plants that do not tolerate a persistently waterlogged root ball. We recommend mixing the substrate before use. It is advisable to start fertilising approximately 4 to 6 weeks after repotting.
