Although they are fighting for each other, they have the same goal - to take revenge on the king who betrayed them, to win a devastating war and to put the coveted trophy on their heads - the Crown of Ashes. On the way to victory, the players will be helped especially by the knowledge of necromancy, which they have acquired during their endless sleep full of agony and terrifying nightmares. Thanks to her, they can call to life and to battle the armies of warriors fallen in the first war. Players use their loyal minions to gather resources, build monumental structures and lead the undead into battle. At the end of the game, only those who carefully plan their battles, gather enough resources and gain the most influence in the kingdom will be able to wear the crown of ashes. The strategy board game Crown of Ashes full of mutual conflicts and fights for resources surprises with relatively simple rules and a very engaging story that will draw you into the story. You can enjoy the game solo or with up to 3 other teammates.

Will the king consolidate his power?
For decades, the barons ruled their provinces under the watchful eye of the king and maintained peace and prosperity in the kingdom. As their influence grew, however, envy, bitterness, and the devastating fear of betrayal increasingly dominated the king. With his mind paralysed by these thoughts, the king found no other way out but to drive the barons out of the world and consolidate his power. He took advantage of his henchmen and subtly turned the barons against each other. However, the war soon spiralled out of control and the king could only watch as the whole kingdom turned to ashes. After exhausting battles, the barons agreed to convene peace talks, where they were tempted by the king's next ruse - after drinking the potion, they were to fall into a century-long sleep and awaken from it to a recovered and prosperous land.
Which of the barons is the Crown of Ashes waiting for?
Instead, the barons faced 100 years of indescribable pain and horrific nightmares that irrevocably warped their minds. But balancing between life and death has allowed them to master the dark ancient art of reviving fallen warriors. Driven by the desire for revenge and power, the barons revived the armies that had fallen in the first war and sent them to the second war. At the end of it, one of them sits on the royal throne and puts the coveted crown of ashes on his head. Which of the barons will emerge victorious from this war?
