The Immax SUN LAMPADA LED light with PIR sensor illuminates outdoor spaces without needing a connection to the mains. This light uses a solar panel and an integrated battery to power twenty SMD2835 LED diodes. The IP54-rated construction resists rain and moisture, while the built-in motion sensor automatically switches the light on when it detects activity in its detection angle. Solar panel
The 1W Mono-type solar panel has an adjustable design for optimal sunlight capture. The system replenishes a 18650 lithium battery with a capacity of 1800mAh. Charging the battery takes one day in a sunny spot, and the stored energy is sufficient for twelve hours of dim lighting. Solar power eliminates the need for electrical wiring installation.
Motion detection
The passive infrared sensor scans the area within a 120° detection angle up to a distance of 5m. When motion is detected in this sector, the light automatically increases its brightness for 30 seconds. This integrated system activates the light only when motion is detected, saving battery power. The automatic switching responds to the presence of people near the wall and makes it easier to find your way around the house in the dark without manual operation.
Light modes
The device offers two different operating modes for various situations. The first mode, upon detecting activity, activates high brightness for 30 seconds and then switches to standby. The second mode, after the same amount of time, switches the device to a dim light mode for continuous ambient lighting. The chosen mode determines the total operating time on a single charge.
Durable construction
The body of the light is a combination of PA6, polycarbonate and glass. The IP54 rating provides protection against dust and splashing water from all directions. The construction withstands common outdoor weather conditions and can be placed on unprotected house or garage walls. The materials used demonstrate stability even with long-term exposure to outdoor conditions.
Light output
The light source consists of 20 integrated SMD2835 LED diodes. The diodes emit a luminous flux of 120lm with a total power consumption of 2.2W. The luminous flux provides enough light for navigation in smaller outdoor areas. The 3000K colour temperature corresponds to a warm white light, which creates a pleasant, glare-free atmosphere. The colour rendering index is 80Ra, accurately displaying surrounding colours outdoors.
Installation
Wall mounting is done with screws and wall plugs. The dimensions are 20.4 × 17.1 × 22.6cm, making it suitable even for narrower posts. The solar power does not require a connection to the mains electricity grid and simplifies the choice of a suitable location. The light is fixed directly to a solid surface at the desired height.
