Processor performance
The Alder Lake architecture (12th generation) utilises high-performance cores. The processor runs at a base frequency of 2.5GHz. When needed, Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 technology automatically increases the clock speed up to 4.4GHz for demanding applications and games. An 18MB L3 cache and a 7.5MB L2 cache ensure a fast data supply to the cores.
Flexible memory and graphics support
The 6-core processor supports both DDR5 and DDR4 RAM. Processor cores and threads
Processor cores function, to a certain extent, like individual processors, handling computational tasks independently of one another. The more physical cores a processor has, the more tasks it can process simultaneously. Threads can be described as separate virtual cores, which all modern processors have. An eight-core processor typically has sixteen threads, enabling it to process sixteen processes at once.
Processor frequency
