The Inter-Tech IPC 4W2 Rack 4U computer case serves as a foundation for mining rigs or servers with a high number of graphics cards. The 4U chassis provides a robust home for sensitive hardware, and with a depth of 688mm, it can also accommodate large components. The steel construction effectively protects the electronics, while a powerful ventilation system keeps components cool even during intensive use. The design allows for mounting in standard rack cabinets and simplifies space management. The case's structural design provides access to internal equipment without needing to dismantle large parts of the chassis, and supports the installation of up to eight graphics cards, making the system ideal for mining operations and computationally demanding tasks.
The case includes six 120mm fans in the front and middle sections, which create a strong airflow across the heat-generating components. The system can be supplemented with two more fans on the rear panel. Using the pre-mounted rails, the internal space accommodates up to six dual-slot or eight single-slot graphics cards with a length of up to 280mm.
The internal layout supports ATX, mATX and Mini-ITX motherboards with maximum dimensions of 305 × 280mm. The CPU cooler clearance is 155mm. The front panel features two USB 2.0 ports and control buttons with LED power and disk activity indicators. The logical interior layout simplifies all cable management and access to individual parts for maintenance. The material used effectively dampens vibrations from hard drives and fans, contributing to the safe operation of the entire system.
