This Inter-Tech internal adapter connects up to four hard drives or SSDs with a SATA interface to a single Mini-SAS (SFF-8087) port on your controller. The 1-metre cable supports the Serial ATA III standard and offers a transfer speed of up to 48000Mb/s when connected via PCIe 3.0 x4. Thanks to Plug & Play, installation is simple and requires no drivers. Hot-swap support also lets you change drives while the system is running, without needing to reboot.

Flexible and fast data transfers

The Inter-Tech SFF-8087 cable is designed for efficient internal storage management. It lets you connect up to four SATA drives to a single Mini-SAS port on a controller or motherboard, making it a practical solution for servers and workstations. Each port supports a transfer speed of up to 6Gbit/s in line with the Serial ATA III standard, so it won't limit the performance of modern SSDs. To ensure a stable and secure connection, the connectors are equipped with a Keylock to prevent accidental disconnection. Furthermore, the Hot-swap function gives you the option to change drives while the system is running, without needing to restart.
