Intel Core i9-10900KF CPU Overclocking Options
The CPU uses automatic overclocking to manage both the power consumption and general processing load. If the processing requirements rise, the CPU will automatically raise the clock frequency up to 5,2 GHz. The Intel Core i9 Comet Lake CPU allows you to fairly easily boost the base clock speed using manual overclocking function as well. It includes an unlocked multiplier for it and can handle heavy processing load. Before you start overclocking, you have to consider that it triggers a rise in TDP, which for the Intel Core i9-10900KF CPU makes 125 W.
What Else Can the Intel Core i9-10900KF CPU Do?
The more advanced users will be thrilled by the Hyper-Threading technology on the CPU, which is capable of dividing one physical core into two virtual ones, significantly improving multi-threaded processing. You could say it uses one thread to simulate multiple threads. The Intel Core i9-10900KF CPU also supports virtualisation, which is a great thing to have. It enables you to run a number of virtual PCs on one real PC, for instance with the Hyper-V software.
