Levenhuk Kelvin Bright STM102 Smart Telescope

The Levenhuk Kelvin Bright STM102 smart telescope is a Maksutov-Cassegrain catadioptric instrument that combines optics with technology. Thanks to its automatic GoTo and tracking functions, you can easily observe celestial objects without needing to find them manually. The telescope features an integrated Full HD camera that records your observations directly to the built-in memory. It is conveniently controlled via a mobile app, which offers access to an extensive database of celestial bodies.

Smart control and automatic GoTo

The telescope is equipped with a fully automated alt-azimuth mount that finds and tracks objects in the night sky. It's controlled wirelessly via Wi-Fi (2.4/5GHz) using the MirroSky mobile app, available for both iOS and Android. The app contains a database of over 100000 objects. Simply select a target and the telescope will automatically focus on it, helping even novice astronomers with their observations.

Optics and recording observations

The Maksutov-Cassegrain optical system, with its 102mm objective lens diameter and 1300mm focal length, provides magnification from 52× to 204×. The telescope includes an integrated astronomy camera with a Sony Starvis 2 CMOS sensor, which records images in Full HD (1920 × 1080px) resolution. Images and videos are saved to the built-in 64GB memory. The app also supports advanced features such as image stacking, colour correction and shutter speed adjustment. The entire instrument rests on a solid steel tripod, and the optical tube is made from an aluminium alloy.
