Mac mini M4 2024 CTO
The smallest and best Mac mini ever – that's the Mac mini with the Apple M4 chip. The M4 chip, featuring a 10-core CPU, 10-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine for AI acceleration, delivers performance that just a few years ago was exclusive to premium desktop computers. Now, it fits under your monitor and uses less power than a light bulb. With 24GB of unified memory boasting a bandwidth of 120GB/s and a lightning-fast 2TB SSD, applications like Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, and Final Cut Pro respond instantly – no waiting, no stuttering, no compromises. For the first time ever, the Mac mini adds front-facing USB-C ports and an audio jack exactly where you need them, while three Thunderbolt 4 ports on the back open up the possibility of connecting up to three independent displays simultaneously, including 8K output via HDMI. All of this is packed into a 12.7×12.7×5.0cm body, running macOS with Apple Intelligence – an operating system that thinks along with you.

Apple M4 redefines the rules of compact computer performance
The Apple M4 chip isn't just an evolution; it's a fundamental rewrite of what a compact computer can do. The 10-core CPU, with its combination of 4 performance and 6 efficiency cores, intelligently allocates workloads based on current needs. The performance cores fully engage for demanding rendering or video editing, while the efficiency cores quietly handle web browsing or document work. The 10-core GPU with hardware-accelerated ray tracing ensures smooth visuals even when working with graphically intensive content, and the 16-core Neural Engine, powered by 120GB/s unified memory bandwidth, drives Apple Intelligence features from smart writing and summarisation to image generation directly on the device, without sending data to the cloud.
Three independent displays and a limitless workspace
The Mac mini M4 supports up to three independent displays at once, each at an exceptional resolution. Two displays at up to 6K resolution at 60Hz via Thunderbolt 4 and one display via HDMI at up to 8K resolution at 60Hz or 4K at 240Hz create a workspace that adapts to any professional scenario, from video editing and graphic design to software development with multiple windows open simultaneously.
macOS and Apple Intelligence as a whole that just works
macOS provides an advanced environment that naturally adapts to any workflow. From smart window arrangement and the powerful Safari browser to deep integration with other Apple devices. Apple Intelligence adds a layer of personal AI directly into the system, helping with writing, summarisation, image generation, and replying to messages, all with a focus on the privacy that Apple puts first. Copy text on your iPhone and instantly paste it on your Mac, take FaceTime calls, or send messages via iMessage. The Apple ecosystem works as a single, seamless whole with no setup required.
Connectors front and back, exactly where you need them
For the first time, the Mac mini M4 brings ports to the front, where they're truly handy. Two USB-C ports with speeds up to 10Gb/s and a 3.5mm audio jack ensure you can connect accessories instantly without reaching behind the monitor or fumbling with cables. On the back, you'll find three Thunderbolt 4 ports with speeds up to 40Gb/s for connecting displays, external storage, or docking stations, an HDMI port supporting up to 8K at 60Hz or 4K at 240Hz, and a Gigabit Ethernet port.
Build the perfect setup around your Mac mini M4
The Mac mini ships without a display, keyboard, or mouse, giving you the freedom to build a workspace that perfectly suits your needs and taste. For the ultimate visual experience, a 4K or 5K monitor is a natural fit for the M4 chip, fully leveraging the graphics performance of the 10-core GPU. The Apple Studio Display or Pro Display XDR are the obvious choices for demanding creatives, but a high-quality 4K monitor will also serve you brilliantly. For controls, we recommend the Magic Keyboard with Touch ID for convenient and secure fingerprint login, and either the Magic Mouse or Magic Trackpad for the intuitive macOS gestures, which are truly exceptional on the trackpad. If you plan on making video calls, a webcam is not included, so it's worth investing in a quality external Full HD or 4K camera.
