After ordering licences (Adobe Cloud, Adobe subscription), you will receive an invitation by e‑mail from the Adobe Cloud Admin Console (adminconsole.adobe.com), where you can then manage your Adobe licences. The invitation is only generated if it is a completely new account. When adding licences to existing accounts, you will only receive information about the licence being issued. The recipient becomes the account administrator (the invitation is generated primarily on working days between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.).
The account can be maintained in various languages, including English. You can set the language within the account (in the footer of the page). The console language setting does not affect the application language, which is determined by the user's operating system, but it can be changed after installation in the application settings.
After the invitation is accepted by the administrator (you register using an Adobe ID that you already have or create one when you accept the invitation), an anniversary date is generated – this is fixed and determines the end of the licence's validity after one year. The date is set only with the first licence delivery.
The purchased licences will appear in your account soon (no later than on the day of ordering during business hours) and can be used immediately. Each licence must be assigned to a specific user (this does not have to be the administrator). If the user is the administrator, they assign it to themselves. If it is another user, the licence is assigned to their e‑mail address. The user will receive an e‑mail with an invitation to accept the licence.
After confirming the invitation, the user can immediately start downloading. The licence is activated with their e‑mail address (Adobe ID), which must be created not only by the administrator, but by each user. Adobe Cloud Manager is downloaded together with the first downloaded product (especially for the Adobe CC “All Apps” collection). This is a simple interface where you can select products to download – it is not necessary to install everything from the collection. Older versions can also be selected (usually max. one version back). You only need to activate the product once, even in the case of a collection.
Notes on using your Adobe subscription
- The administrator can reassign the licence to another user at any time – by removing it from the current user and assigning it to a new one.
- Each licence is intended for one user, who can activate it on two devices (e.g. at home and at work), provided that they are not running simultaneously.
- An account can have multiple administrators. The original administrator can transfer the “primary admin” role to another user – this change is made in the account settings.
- The change is confirmed by e‑mail to the new administrator, who must accept the licence terms.
You can add licences yourself at any time – even on weekends or outside working hours. The licence will be active immediately and can be assigned to a user. This action is considered a binding order, which you must confirm with your dealer within 7 days. If you do not do so, the licences will expire, and it will not be possible to create new ones until the order is completed.
- You are ordering for the number of days until the account's anniversary date. Purchased licences will be valid until the anniversary date without restriction.
Offline mode and reactivation
Even if the application is running locally on your computer, reactivation may be required once every 99 days. It is possible to work offline for up to 3 months, but online services (e.g. cloud storage) will not be available. You will be notified of the need for reactivation 30 days in advance, regardless of whether you are online.
Licence expiry and renewal
30 days before expiry, the administrator will receive an e‑mail notification (and at least two reminders). You can renew by purchasing the same item in the Alza e-shop – the price is the same as for a new licence. If you do not wish to renew your licence, it will expire completely after the anniversary date (plus 30 days). If you want a different product, simply order new licences for that product.
Licence duration and type
- Licences are always purchased for a minimum of 365 days (in the case of a new account or anniversary date).
- A shorter period is only possible when purchasing additional licences for an existing account (e.g. in the middle of the period for 183 days – the price is proportional).
- Renewal is always for a full year.
- For contracts longer than 12 months, please contact us – the maximum duration is 36 months without a discount.
Special products
For Adobe Acrobat Pro 2024 (“Classic”) and Photoshop/Premiere Elements products, a new installation is required when renewing the licence – there is no automatic transition.
