Single-player Game Modes
The game offers a sophisticated single-player campaign that follows a story across five vast and challenging environments. Once you have completed the campaign levels, a 'free-play' mode is unlocked. In this challenge mode, you can return to familiar locations and try to beat your best score, which adds to the game's replayability. Reworked and modified enemies await to test your skills.
Join Forces in Online Co-op
In addition to the single-player game, Alien Breed: Impact also includes an online co-op mode. Here you can team up with another player and face hordes of aliens together on three specially modified maps. The experience is enhanced by the integration of Steam's online features, such as friends lists, voice chat for easy communication, shared leaderboards, and co-op achievements that can only be earned by working with a partner.
Tactical Upgrades for Your Arsenal
The game includes a shop where you can upgrade your equipment. You earn in-game currency by searching fallen comrades and locked lockers. You can then spend it on tactical weapon modifications and upgrade packs. This system allows you to customise your arsenal to suit your playstyle and more effectively face increasingly powerful enemies. If you want to try the game first, a free 'Prologue' demo is available.
The purchased product key must be activated in Steam:
1) Go to https://store.steampowered.com/ and click on the green button that says "Install Steam".
2) Install and run the Steam client and log in with your existing account or create a new one.
3) Click "Add Game" at the bottom left corner of the screen and then select "Activate a Product on Steam"
4) The "Product Activation" window will pop up. Follow the onscreen instructions and enter your purchased code.
5) Once the activation is complete, you can find the new game in your "Library" tab.
6) Press the blue "Install" button to install the game.
