This is a unique publication dedicated to the principles and laws of the functioning of financial systems and financial markets within them, with a special focus on the specific characteristics of individual types of primarily financial, but also real investment instruments, and methods of their trading.

The new edition is expanded with a discussion of the nature and development of money, including the gradual introduction of cryptocurrencies, and a discussion of modern ways of using interest rates for monetary regulation is also newly added. In the next text, the author expanded the discussion of existing types of stocks and bonds, while not avoiding the connection to structured bonds, and expanded the interpretation of fundamental analysis by separating the fundamental analysis of a company from the methods of conducting fundamental analysis of individual stocks. Further benefits can be seen in the substantial expansion of psychological analysis and the expansion of bond analysis, especially with regard to methods of calculating their profitability and the expansion of the discussion of real investments. Another new part of the book is a significant expansion of the discussion on hedge funds and ETFs, as well as the inclusion of the issue of " Private Equity Funds. And finally, a brand new final chapter is introduced " Contemporary Development of the World Economy and Its Financial System", which contains a discussion of the regionalization and globalization of the world economy and draws attention to the risks of the future development of both the world economy and human society as a whole.
