A Star Above the Arabian Hell

Hope can shine even in the blackest darkness

Fatima was born in France, but grew up in a radical Afghan family who chose a husband and a future for her that she did not want. When she refused to submit, she almost paid the ultimate price for her disobedience.
Miraculously, she survived and took on a new identity. Fatima became Fabienne. A new name, a new life, a new faith.
It seems the past is buried forever. But a trip to Saudi Arabia turns into a nightmare. Fabienne finds herself in a women's prison in the middle of the scorching desert, far from everyone, without help or hope. In these walls, where fear, cruelty, and inhumane conditions reign, there is also a terrifying secret that no one talks about.
Can she survive another hell that fate has in store for her?
