Boys are disappearing from Earth. On his eighth birthday, he disappears without a trace and no one can stop him. People have lost all hope, they don't even ask questions anymore about who, where and especially why the boys are being taken. Twelve-year-old Peter, however, has not disappeared. Perhaps it's his extremely sensitive eyes, protected by thick black glasses that allow him to see in the dark. Thanks to them, he sees strange phantoms stealing his brother.

Peter comes up with a crazy plan and it is his eyes that allow him to find his way into the dark world of monsters and monsters. What some have been whispering about in fear is becoming clear - we are not alone. Who is the all-powerful Enemy, where does he come from, what is he up to and why is he doing all this? A decisive battle is coming, the end of the world as we know it is closer than we can imagine.

Václav Dvořák, author of the popular and award-winning book for children and young people, The Sandmen and the Errant Asteroid (selection of the Best Children's Book, Book of the Year of the Liberec Region), comes up with another richly illustrated adventure. For fearless readers aged 11 and up.
