Sailors: The First Voyage Around the World - DVD
In 1519, five ships set sail from Seville, under the command of the famous Admiral Ferdinand Magellan.
Her destination is the Moluccas, the famous Spice Islands.
During the three-year adventure, the crew was plagued by hunger, disease and the cruel vagaries of the weather.
Magellan himself dies fighting the natives of the Philippines, and the new leader is a headstrong young man, Juan Sebastián Elcano.
His mission is to get the rest of the crew home safely.
