Pomeranian mothers

The audiobook Forget-Me-Not Mothers, written by Lenka Chalupová, read by Dana Černá. For years, Šárka Jordanová has been struggling in vain to come to terms with the loss of her daughter, who disappeared under mysterious circumstances ten years ago. She is desperately trying to become a mother again and is willing to do anything to make it happen. Nearby, a forgotten case from the past re-emerges: that of five-year-old Zuzana, who has been missing since 1968 and whose fate was meant to remain buried. Two intertwined stories, two mothers, and one pain that refuses to fade. LENKA CHALUPOVÁ Lenka Chalupová is a journalist and writer, and a graduate of journalism from Palacký University in Olomouc. She is a recipient of the Olomouc Region Award for Literature. Born in Přerov, she still lives there with her family and works as the town's press officer. She has written numerous successful novels. Her trilogy set in the Přerov region during and after the war – Sour Cherries, The Fifth Apple, and Midsummer Nuts – was particularly well-received by readers. With the Motto publishing house, she has released the novels When the Sky Rips and Hunched Souls, which are also set in the area around Přerov. She is interested in literature, theatre, film, fine art – and culture in its entirety.
