Red Captain

During the reconstruction of the old cemetery, workers discovered a skull in one of the coffins with a large spike in it. It was clear that the deceased died a violent death. Homicide detectives Richard Krauz, a novice, and Eduard Burger, an experienced one, were called to the scene of the gruesome discovery. The merry-go-round of investigations has been set in motion. Detectives soon discover that the deceased is a former churchwarden from St Barbara's Church. However, the investigation is going on to the displeasure of everyone - the higher-ups and the Church itself. Why? Krauz and Burger are still continuing their search. A co-production film based on the book was released in March 2016.
