Various: The Man Who Fell To Earth
Music CD For the first time ever, the complete soundtrack to David Bowie's cult film The Man Who Fell to Earth (directed by Nicolas Roeg, 1976) is being released. Celebrated by film fans, the music features contributions primarily from John Phillips (co-founder of The Mamas and the Papas as Papa John, who co-wrote "California Dreamin'" and "Kokomo" for the Beach Boys) and Stomu Yamashta. Long thought to be lost, the original master recordings have now been rediscovered and meticulously remastered. The 2CD set is released alongside the film's reissue in Germany, with a 2LP release and a Deluxe Box for hardcore fans following shortly after.
