It is grown by farmer Nabwaya Stephen in the southern part of Uganda's volcanic Mount Elgon, in a region named Bududa, at an altitude of around 1,800 metres. By purchasing Mountain Gorilla Coffee - Bududa, you are helping the veterinarians from the Gorilla Doctors organisation, who care for the last remaining mountain gorillas in Uganda's mountain forests.
